The work paints a portrait of my ongoing research, of a desire to delink from the dominant structures and to learn things that are hidden, invisible or that very rarely belong to collective memory; a search for new models of representation and interpretation, in which there exists no single, correct narrative, but a multitude of histories and narratives co-exist, whether they are seen as dominant or marginal.

Through this project, I do not wish to establish new norms or to create new selections, but to show a process of self-seeking in a multitude of possible histories and subjectivities, in order to find new ways of creating new personal and artistic narratives.

The feminist gaze uses the camera to take on a new and often impossible task of showing what it's like to be the object of the gaze, the gazed gaze, from the perspective of the observed, a gaze that is aware of the intensity of protagonism. Through it, we can draw attention to the fact that we know we are seen, refusing to be the object of the gaze.

The work was exhibted at Galeria Posibila, Bucharest; Zina Gallery Cluj; Academy of Arts in Leipzig.
